normal 85.87% 3124/3638
User Request - Call Circuit Closed 7.89% 287/3638
Lost Carrier 4.59% 167/3638
Service Unavailable - Auth Failed 0.49% 18/3638
We run PRIs, ESF, B8ZS, u-law with -7.5 to -15db lvl
Should I be concerned about the higher number of Lost Carriers?
Thanks!

Subject: (PMOD) 3.8.2c2 results after about 2000 calls...
Still to early to tell for sure, but here are my results as compared to a
month of 3.8.2 on two portmasters based on the termination reasons in the
radius detail file...
Portmaster a) 3.8.2
normal 91.90% 54240/59019
"User Request - Call Circuit Closed" 7.32% 4320/59019
"Lost Carrier" 0.76% 446/59019
"Service Unavailable - Failed to detect V.42 remote" 0.01% 7/59019
"User Error - LAPM negotiation timeout" 0.01% 6/59019
Portmaster a) 3.8.2c2
normal 92.47% 3574/3865
"User Request - Call Circuit Closed" 6.49% 251/3865
"Lost Carrier" 0.80% 31/3865
"Port Error - Exceeded LAPM retransmission limit" 0.23% 9/3865
Portmaster b) 3.8.2
normal 91.33% 33834/37044
"User Request - Call Circuit Closed" 7.75% 2871/37044
"Lost Carrier" 0.88% 327/37044
"Service Unavailable - Failed to detect V.42 remote" 0.02% 6/37044
"Port Error - Exceeded LAPM retransmission limit" 0.01% 3/37044
"User Error - LAPM negotiation timeout" 0.01% 3/37044
Portmaster b) 3.8.2c2
normal 91.04% 2226/2445
"User Request - Call Circuit Closed" 8.14% 199/2445
"Lost Carrier" 0.61% 15/2445
"Port Error - Exceeded LAPM retransmission limit" 0.20% 5/2445
Has anyone seen any big changes ? I havent done any calculations, but I
would say the figures are within normal variance... i.e. I see results
bounce around 91% +-2% from day to day...
I guess its time to see if its the same set of users having the same
problems, or if its spread out across the board. I know with my Supra PCI,
I can usually stay on for a good day or so before getting a CCC... I am
about 2miles from the CO on most likely very old copper.
