(PMOD) RE: (PM) LT Win Modem Problem

We have had good success limiting the connect speed in order to increase
throughput, try have them limit their speed to around 36 or 38 and then bump
it up 2k until the the throughput starts to slow.

We're experiencing a problem with one user who is using a LT Winmodem
(Actiontec). He's getting extremely low throughput when connecting to the
PM4 at 45k or above(1.1 to 1.8bps) and when connecting to the V.34 pool he
regularly gets higher throughput. Some of this may be how the call is
routed out of his CO (a known issue).

This seems odd since we have several users using the ActionTec modem and
it's proved to be very reliable and have gotten high throughputs.

We've checked IRQ/DMA conflicts and haven't found a problem. The modem was
PnP installed on COM4 IRQ 11 and shows no conflicts.

Anyone have any ideas?
