Subject: (PMOD) Wisecom Accelerator IV
Got a user, who after insisting that her computer was top of the line cause
she bought it from Fingerhut, who can't stay connected to us. We are
running PM3 - 3.8.2c2. This was only brought to my attention recently, but
guess that it has been happening since Aug of last year.
There are no identifiers on the modem, the only thing I could find was this
ws3314js3
A quick search on the Web, and reading some .inf files to find out what
model, reveals this
WISECOM accelerator IV
After checking their website, there are no driver upgrades for it, was
wondering if any body has come across one of these and has a fix. A search
of the PM archives revealed a couple of strings for wisecom's, but none of
them seemed to work.
Thanks,
Patrick
