Absolutely -- Gateway systems also ship with the some modem. No real
"ability to connect" problems, but nobody is able to hit anything over
28.8Kbps.

We're still working on it here -- no light at end of tunnel yet. *sigh*
I've noticed that Gateway has a 12/98 updater of some sort on their site
(the modems all report having 10/98 firmware), so that's the current
experiment.
