The following will be snippets from my saved articles, which you could
have found by searching www.nexial.nl or www.livingston.com amazing how
much info you can find ;) I've only put the first 3 that I found to get
you started. If you find a solution to your particular situation please
post back to portmaster-modems
A lil additional info.. the last snip has the faqs, note that there are
ISA and PCI drivers this information should be noted when asking about
driver problems.

Try this string: +MS=V34,1,300,28800
It worked on the same model modem for a customer of our's just the other
day, however, we are using Assured Access hardware.

Those are not Rockwell, they are Motorola SM56 chipset.
Here's one company's drivers page:
http://www.sharkmm.com/tech/download/leopwin56DL.htm
And here's Motorola SM56 site:
http://www.mot.com/networking/products/sm56_isa_software_modem_v2/index.html
This is one of the worse modem I've seen with the PM3 (Along wuth the ESS
chipset) altought reports from the v58 drivers seems to be better.

Release 3.00 P3 Build 54
Going to Motorola's website at:
http://www.mot.com/networking/products/sm56_isa_software_modem_v2/faqs2.html
shows that the latest driver is build is Build 60. It also says it
should be compatible with all ISA versions of the SM56 and it's
available there for download (maybe this is the generic firmware
Sherwood was referring to in a previous post).
