(PMOD) Compaq Notebook LT56 to USR Courier

Any thoughts on init strings for a Compaq Armada internal LT56 to talk
to my USR Courier V-Everything equipped PM2???

At present the Courier will not connect. Is this because the Compaq is
K56 and the Courier is X2???

Maybe I need to find the AT command to disable K56 on the Compaq.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.
