The people who bought emachines and signed up for my service had a simple
solution, they either returned the machines (all but one of them did this)
or they signed up with America Online.....

Besides their modems, the machine is just generally crappy.

That's what happens when you buy a cheap-o machine from a Overseas company
that's still making a profit from selling them so low (dead giveaway about
the quality, huh?)
