(PMOD) Re: PortMaster Modems Digest V99 #77

I had a similar problem with a customer. Even though his was a new modem it
did not have the latest driver.
Installing the new driver took care of the problem.

PS I believe the latest software change that Lucent has made for the PM 3
made a big improvement. But they still have a weakness with people that
have poor phone lines and will not ever connect at 26, 400 0r 28,000.

It is still very frustrating when you are at a customers home and they can
connect ( I keep a competitors account) to another ISP with out problems but
can't to the PM3s
