I guess all you ISPs, along with the 30-40% of 56k modem owners I estimate
aren't getting 56k connects, will be happy to learn that a new Inverse study
says V.90 is now delivering as promised. They peg the no-56k number at 6.4%,
and imply that average '56k' throughput equivalent to a 38k connect (even
though the modem reports an average of 46k) is the V.90 promise.
