(PMOD) USR 33.6 connection problems.

I've got a quick question. We're using a few PM3s running ComOS
3.9b12 -- we haven't run into any problems (out of the ordinary) /except/
that quite a few of our users with 33.6k or slower analog modems just
cannot connect. Their modem will negotiate for quite a while and then just
fail. I've seen this on 2 MWave modems and about 6 USR Sportsters. We
ended up creating a bank of 10 28.8 Couriers just for these poor users to
dial into...doh!
Has anyone else seen anything like this? Thanks in advance.
