I will have to agree with that. I know that I am behind a SLIC at my home,
and I connect better to the PM3 with a USR 33.6 than I ever did with my
Diamond Supra External. But I still usually end up calling the analog pool
anyways, the SLIC just kills the connection.

I've found that a lot of people behind SLICs can't connect to the
PM3 regardless of their modem. They invariably connect just fine to
our analog pool. Our analog pool is liable to live forever at this
rate.
