I'm having troubles with another one of those no name modems.
The customer connects up fine to my old analog lines, but doesn't always
connect up to my PM3 3.9b22, but he appears to have fairly recent firmware
:-
ATI3 V2.210-V90_2M_DLS OK
ATI4 V.90 & K56Flex Voice Modem OK
ATI5 040 OK
ATI6 RCV56DPF-PLL L8571A Rev 33.00/33.00 OK
I'm suspecting most of their problem is distance from the exchange, which
could be some 7-8 Km in a rural setting.
I'm reluctant to give him modem string to cut it back to v34 at this time,
as he only just bought this modem the other day, but not from me I might
add.
