--- user reports:I'm using a 33.6k Diamond SupraExpress external modem. If I set the connection speed for the max - in dialup networking, it gets connected but Onramp won't acknowledge me. I can get in if I set my speed to 9600.
I know the phone line is ok - I can connect to Geac at the max rate.

any help would be appreciated. there is no support available at Diamond .. they have info only for their 56k modems .. hoping an Init string or a driver update will help him out .. hoping one of you will know something about it :o)
