(PMOD) 3.9beta27

Just loaded 3.9 beta 27.
I have a customer with a packard bell club 500 computer. It has a mr2800
datafax modem azt ver 2.60.00 pb (whatever the hell that is).

Used to connect fine every single time, 46k roughly. Wont connect at all
now. And this funny modem wont seem to accept any +ms command that I
know off. (at+ms=V34,1,2400,36600 or at+ms=11 or at+ms=V34 etc).
By adding two commas at the end of the phone number, the modem connects
at 46k again. Any ideas?
