Question #2:
On the same Unix machine, can I configure a Merit Helper to
use an existing Livingston server as the LAS for my portmasters, and
the Ascend server for the ISDN users? I'll need to recompile the
Livingston server to run on a different set of ports...can I
specify the port by realm for the Helper to call?
This is an interim solution until the Ascend code finds
its way into the Merit distribution, and until I can patch the
Merit server to handle a legacy "user:service" login script protocol.
