This is the first I've heard about the server crashing...

What version of ComOS are you using? Are you using the Merit LAS stuff?

I have fixed several found (known and unknown, announced and unannounced)
bugs in 2.4.20 and I expect to have a more well tested server released
in the next week or so. I apologize for having rushed this out -- I did
have a reason (and it wasn't to rain on eveyone's parade!) :-)
