First i unpacked the radius.2.4.21.tar file
On top of it I upacked radius.2.4.21.las.tar
I substituded rlmadmin.c with the one given
I substituted the new authfile, clients and users file with the ones that I had
modified to suit my needs since the last couple of versions.
I made the following changes in the Makefile:
1. Defined COMPRESS
2. Defined the following:
SRV2 = -DDEFAULT_RADIUS_SERVER=\"dial.cylink.com.cy\"
SRV1 = -DDEFAULT_SERVER=\"dial.cylink.com.cy\"
SRV = $(SRV1) $(SRV2)
3. Defined CHK_SHELLS
4. Defined LAS_NO_HGAS
5. Radiusd is my default server
6. I'm compiling on SunOS 4.1.4 (compiled just fine)
After these I start radius as following:
radiusd -s&
In addition a typical entry in my users file looks like:
user1 Password ="passwd", Simultaneous-Use = 1
Service-Type = Framed,
Framed-Protocol = PPP,
Framed-IP-Netmask = 255.255.255.255,
Framed-Routing = None,
Filter-Id = "std.user.in",
Framed-MTU = 1500
In addition, my accounting packets go on the same server as the authentication
requests (dial.cylink.com.cy). The accounting is under the directory
/usr/private/etc/radacct/pm13. Logging is done succesfuly.
That's all. Do you see any mistakes? Anything I left behind?
