How can users change their passwords. (fwd)

Once upon a time Steve Ensley shaped the electrons to say...

If you use UNIX passwords you need access to 'passwd'

If the passwords are in the /etc/raddb/users file the 'radpass' program does
the same thing for RADIUS basically.

Now, accessing them from a web form - hasn't been done to my knowledge.

I find it ironic this came up, just last night I was involved in an exchange
internally about what it would take for me to write a CGI-BIN application to
do this... The part I'm weak on is the MD5 stuff, I'd need to research it
to see what would need to reproduce radpass in Perl for CGI form input. I
definitely feel it can be done though. Now, I have copious free time as
list readers are probably aware, so don't expect me to be writing this soon.
It was mostly an intellectual exercise on my part that I'd like to do, but
I need to find to time breathe first...
