Auth timeout

On most NASes I have worked with, there is a way to adjust the
timeout value for the Radius auth and acct packets. Is there a
way to do this on the Portmaster? I haven't been able to find
one, and would like to be able to raise it. Under high load
situations, 3 seconds its pretty quick.

What I have seen happening is the PM will make a request and time
it out. The request will actually get fulfilled and responded to,
in lets say five seconds. Now the PM has already dumped, the
original, and its sending another. This starts a cascading
affect that eventually can bring a server to its knees.
