The radcheck(8) client is built upon sendserver() in sendserver.c which
does all the real work. The radpwtst(8) client does more in the way of
"auhtentication stuff" but it, too, is built on top of sendserver().
BTW 2.4.16 isn't all that out of date, but it does have known bugs (doesn't
every release? sigh...)
