One of the benefits of running the RadiusNT package with ODBC
extensions is
that it hits a common Database. Because of this model you can
have many
RadiusNT servers doing accounting and authentication do a common
database.
This includes the ability to do concurrent lockout of accounts
up to date,
even if the primary authentication or accounting server goes
down. There
is no syncronization of the data, as its always live.

Putting this together with a Database Server which has some
built in
fault tolerant and fail-over capabilities, and you have a very
solid
and flexible Radius system.
