I had a problem getting Radius to authenticate my PM2e (3.3.1) using the
Portmaster Login Service to our AIX 3.2.5 RS/6000. It kept double prompting
the user for their password even though the /etc/hosts.equiv file was set
up fine.

Tech support at Livingston said that it was because I was using the
Portmaster service and I needed to switch to rlogin. I did so, and the
users are no longer being double prompted for their password and Radius
is working just fine. However, we are now getting support calls from
users complaining that their shell sessions are not working properly.
Items like arrow keys are no longer being acknowledged by programs like lynx.
The TERM setting is the same with both services, so why would rlogin
behave differently?

Any help would be appriciated.
