Setting up PPP/SLIP users using radius

I'm trying to convert from a UNIX server handling PPP/SLIP accounts to
the portmaster using radius. The nice thing about doing this is that I
don't have to change anyone's passwords. The bad thing is that I need
to edit TWO files whenever I add a user, the radius /etc/raddb/users
file and the /etc/passwd file on the old UNIX host. Anyone know of a
better method of doing this? Ideally, I would like it so that I would
never have to touch the /etc/raddb/users file at all.
