Dropping duplicate ID???

I have been experincing some major problems with PM2E's. Recently
during peak times we will get the following errors repeatedly in our
logfile on our primary AND secondary radius servers:

Mon Jun 24 18:26:54 1996: Dropping duplicate: from aupm1.flash.net -
ID: 175

The time/portmaster name will change as well as the ID number.

At one time we did have one portmaster we narrowed down that seemed
to blast out ID's and the only way to keep our other devices from
having authentication problems was to turn it off/point it to a
non-existant radius server.

I also noticed that the MAX id's seemed to be 255. This sounds like
it could be a possible problem. Normally we do not have 255 users at
the exact same time trying to dialin, although we do have at time
over 1200+ users dialed in at one time. Could this be a problem if we
have 255+ users dialing INTO the system requesting authorization? If
so what is a work around?

It would seem that pushing this max to 1024 would help US out alot.
As a temporary solution we could setup radius servers for each city.

Any other suggestions/solutions?
