Note that Mkt's first claim was end of June - So at most you can say it is
one month behind now. We made stopped the claims of any firm date
about the time the June CD pressing came up and we (engineering) said no
way is it going on CD yet. And no, we're not going to promise any dates.
Towards the end of the planned beta we got reports from a couple of sites
of some problems, as well as some very good suggestions. So it went back
into engineering and then out to test again. We don't ship until it gets
a good report card from testing. It is pretty much stable now, but we
don't want to say 'It'll be on the next (August) CD' because someone could
find a new problem tomorrow.
