1. Hardly anyone uses the password expiration these days. Your 'much needed
feature' wouldn't even register on a scale along with the other requests we
get.
2. Talk to the folks who designed PPP - they didn't provide any way to send
messages to the client in the protocol.
3. I know a lot of people who would be pissed if we spent resources on things
like this instead of major features.
