Again, your desperately needed feature is a minor twitch on the request
scale. It is an RFE, but we have many more important things to work on
that minor features only a small number of our customers want.
Compared to OSPF, BGP, PRI, compression, etc, this doesn't register.
Each time we rev RADIUS features are added, so this will probably make it
in someday. But note that this feature doesn't appear in other vendors
RADIUS either. Doesn't seem like it is such a hotly demanded item.
IN fact, when I surveyed the mailing lists just a few months ago for
new RADIUS features. NO ONE requested the expiration notification, and
ONE PERSON requested time limits. As opposed to near universal requests for
session limits and many requests for the ability to group users together.
(A Mkt group, and eng group, a general group, etc). Even on the scale of
RADIUS RFEs, ignoring other things, these are requests we almost never hear.
