- From what I've seen, I expect the following is actually correct. Can
somebody verify it:
Framed-Address = 196.28.25.129
Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.248
Framed-Routing = Broadcast-Listen,
Framed-Filter-Id = ""
Or with a seperate static IP on the Portmaster's class C:
Framed-Address = 196.28.26.8,
Framed-Netmask = 255.255.255.255,
Framed-Routing = Broadcast-Listen,
Framed-Filter-Id = "",
Framed-Route = "196.28.25.128/29 0.0.0.0 1"
My best understanding is that:
Framed-Address can be left dynamic with a subnet
Framed-Netmask specifies what range of addresses based on the
Framed-Address should be routed down the link
Framed-Route specifies any other subnet that you want to route
when the link is up. The destination can be left 0.0.0.0 to be filled in
with the static/dynamic IP of the link.
