That won't help. He needs to get a sysadmin with a clue. That passwd bug
is an ANCIENT slackware bug in passwd...not an OS or kernel problem. He
should have installed shadow support anyway.

Hmm...I'm bleeding from my finger. I'll fix it my having my arm chopped off.
