Thew simple way to busy a modem out is make a busy clip. what this does
is return a busy signal to your hunt line at the phone companie's co.
To make one cut about 2 inches of phone cord with the jack on one
end.Short the two inside wires (if you're using two line cable otherwise
its just short the two wires together). Plug your busy clip in and you're
in buisness...
PS... We also use junk 2400 modems we've taken out of packard bell pos's
to busy a line out when we've had to replace or repair a modem and there
is a signifigant down time for that line.
