Once upon a time Jon Lusky shaped the electrons to say...
>> The Linux version was done on 1.2.13 ELF - which is probably the most widely
>> used and distributed Linux release in the world today. All the major
>> Linux distributions are based on 1.2.13 ELF.
>Wrong. The current Slackware is based on 2.0.0.

Ok. Slackware is 2.0.0 - which I wouldn't build RADIUS on if you paid me.
I Linux is already up to at least 2.0.18 - for good reason, the early 2.x
builds are not really good builds to run on.

I know people who went up to them, and fled back to 1.2.13. Until 2.0.x
settles out and has a reasonably lengthy stable period - like 1.2.3 and
1.2.13 did, we are not going to ship binaries for a 2.0.x build.

End of discussion. Argue all you want, that's it. Wait for the source
and compile it on your own box.
