And here you have the strongest argument for why we don't buil on 2.0.x yet.

It has been revving like mad. About 5 months and 23 rev levels. I don't
see how anyone can consider it 'stable' - look at the history or 1.2.3 and
1.2.13 and how long they were the standards. The current revs are newborns
compared to those releases. When a 2.0.x release emerges as a truly stable
foundation to work from, then we can build for it.
