We have our customers in a central Oracle RDBMS. The radius servers in our
dialin locations throughout the country (70+ locations) are based on the
Livingston 2.0 radiusd, but have an additional cache/proxy mechanism using
the original DBM files as local store and a SunRPC interface to access the
central database.
For mail, we use a modified sendmail/popper to directly authenticate
against the Oracle RDBMS.
Web-Autentications works via an Apache module, again authenticating
against the Oracle RDBMS.
Customers DO NOT have UNIX accounts.
