What is the magic incantation to get the two port messages to display
on separate lines?
Using \r or nothing results in the second message displaying over the
first. Using \n in the first message prevents the second one from
displaying at all.
This cannot be this difficult. If the PM can process multiple messages
then surely there is a way to display them on separate lines.
