We are a small ISP that has been using PM25's to handle all of our dialin
users. We are branching out into offering ISDN services. Our first client
is going to have a dedicated connection to us via ISDN and I have a few
questions on how to set it up.
Here's the scenario: we will be routing a class C to the customer
(208.10.136.0). Their router/nt1 (Ascend PL50) will be at .1. Our pm2i is
at 208.12.177.28. We are putting all of our ISDN lines on a roll-over so
we only have to give out one number to all ISDN customers.
The livingston books give a pretty good example of how to setup the
hardware, but I've have had a difficult time understanding how to setup the
/etc/raddb/users files for ISDN. Also, is there a way to restrict a dialin
ISDN customer to just 1B?
I need to be able to route the entire class C to their connection, or at
least a subnet of it. I should also, I think, be able to set it up
generically so that as we add 2i's or even pm3's that no matter where which
box they connect to they will have access to the internet.
Could someone please help me with what the /etc/raddb/users file would look
like.
Thanks in advance.
