If an ISP is able to *detect* multiple logins, then tell me how? Doesnīt he
need a technical solution to detect multiple logins? Doesnīt he have to be
*sure* that there is a multiple login, before declaring one and billing the
customer?

If there is a solution that is stable and secure to *bill* a multiple login,
why not use this solution to stop it?

What is the right policy? To kill or to bill? From the customerīs view, billing
multiple logins that didnīt happen is more annoying then stopping a connection.

Why doesnīt Livingston say "Sorry, we are aware of the problem of multiple
logins, but we currently have no solution for it". Instead, you tell the ISPs
that this problem is no problem.

Believe me, this attitude towards customers will make a lot of ISPs chose other
manufacturers.

We are selling Livingston boxes to our customers, because we like them. They
arenīt expensive and they work stable. But if my customers join this mailing
list (and the Livingston manuals encourage them to do it!) and read your
statements, they phone *me*. And I have to defend the products.

best regards,

Frank
