We have been using RADIUS 1.16 on a Sun SPARCstation 1+ with Solaris 2.5
to authenticate users on eight PM2E terminal servers. All the PM2Es are
running ComOS 3.5. Everything ran great.
Last week, we upgraded the RADIUS 1.16 to 2.0 in order to use the dbm
format for faster authentication. Everything works fine except the
idle timeout has quit working. I can kill RADIUS and restart it without
the -b switch to use the flat users file and the idle timeout works.
The following is a typical entry in our users file (name and password
are bogus):
#
bogus1 Password = "boGUs79",
Service-Type = Framed-User,
Framed-Protocol = PPP,
Framed-IP-Address = 255.255.255.254,
Framed-Routing = Listen,
Framed-Compression = None,
Framed-MTU = 1500
Idle-Timeout = 900
Session-Timeout = 18900
Port-Limit = 1
I have not rebooted any Portmasters. Any ideas would be much
appreciated.
Best regards,
