Hmm...I don't remember how hard it was for me to compile the
Ascend radius (which I never used), but the Merit version
was significantly more difficult for me to understand the
workings of than the Livingston/Ascend versions. This is partly
because the Merit docs were at the time not very clear; they
still don't do a very good job of explaining what's in the free
"basic" version, and how to use it effectively, vs. the
newly-commercial packaging with realms, simultaneous-use
restrictions, etc....
My spanish is nowhere near good enough to talk somebody through
building/installing Merit RADIUS. 'Course, I'm not sure it's
good enough for plain-Jane Livingston/Ascend 1.16 either.
