Currently that port has no outside connection though I believe a modem is
connected w/o a power supply and Aterm which connected to both modem and
ISDN line AND that aterm is turned off.
Could it be bad RS232 connection. It seems that it stops after
wiggling the cable.
Here is another questions for you. (I am very glad finally someone
answered my questions. I have sent questions a few times, with no
response.
for some reason, when I use certain ATERM to connect to pm-2e with BRI
board, it gives me very interesting response.
It sent LCP_PROTOCOL_REJECT after all the second B channl is successfully
connetion..
i.e.
<omited ...>
Received IPCP_CONFIGURE_REQUEST on port S22 of 18 bytes containing:
xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
Sending IPCP_CONFIGURE_ACK to port S22 of 22 bytes containing:
xx xx xx xx
LCP IPCP Open
Connection Succeeded
Received LCP_PROTOCOL_REJECT on port S22 of 750 bytes containing:
xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
Received LCP_PROTOCOL_REJECT on port S22 of 750 bytes containing:
xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
this LCP_PROTOCOL_REJECT seems to repeat at least a few times...
could be forever until terminate the connection.
needless to say though show session shows that connection seems to be
sucessful but.. actually very slow connection and it does even use ftp to
get files....
I would very much if you could help to solve the problem.
I have sent raw data to a livingston authelized dealer and ask the maker
of this aterm solve this problem.
thnx in adv.
