'exit on signal 15' - what is signal 15?

Dear all,

Here are three lines from our radiusd 2.0.1 logfile:

Fri Aug 8 09:45:05 1997: [3847] dropping duplicate request for id
122 from 194.66.22.252
Mon Aug 11 14:38:22 1997: [3847] exit on signal 15
Mon Aug 11 14:38:22 1997: [3847] exit on signal 100

1. What does the first line mean?

2. What are signals 15 and 100? The radiusd appeared just to
unexpectedly quit. I have just read Cristian Gafton's
<gafton@sorosis.ro> message about the memory leak with radius 2.0.1 -
in our users file we have about 7 default entries (and nothing else).
Could this be something to do with it? I don't know if it's my
imagination but our radius server does seem to have been running
rather slowly over the last few days, although this morning it seemed
ok again (i.e. when the radiusd wasn't running any more).

Any suggestions greatly appreciated,
Will.
