Here's our DUN settings at Buckeye. We don't seem to be having the
problems that I see posted here all the time. Except of course when a
client changes something.

Log on to Network, Software compress, and encrypted password all UN-CHECKED

Obviously TCP/IP checked :-)

Server assigned IP

Specify DNS Servers !! I think this is the big one. We just by default put
our resolvers in and forget about it.

IP header and default gateway checked.

In the Network setting just install TCP/IP and get out. No settings there.

The onlything we've seen changed by software is the "software compression"
and "log onto network". 90% of our problems are those. Client calls and
we check that 1st thing and usually they are checked. Un-check 'em an your
rolling.
