Problem d/l email

I have a problem with our Portmaster 2E.
When users dial in and try to check email, it failed when they have a
large mail to d/l.
I also have a US Robotic for access server. The users are happy when they
connect to this device and d/l their email.
Anybody can help me to solve this problem?
