My suggestion would be to add entries in the /etc/services file that have
different names other than the standard (like appending beta) names for
the ports that you wnat to use w/ the Beta versions. Then check the
source for any instance of the RADIUS daemon trying to convert a service
name into a service number and correct them to reflect the newly entered
names in the /etc/services file.
