I start radiusd with the -x option. I run testuser (on the same machine
as radiusd) right after starting radiusd, I get the following messages:
recv. timeout
then testuser prompts me again to enter the username. After a minute or
so, radiusd responds with a successful authentication.
If I wait a couple of minutes after starting radiusd then start testuser
and enter the username and password, I get the following response from
testuser: ( please note the the text in brackets are my comments)
Received ACK (displayed right away)
Service-Type = Framed-User (displayed right away)
Framed-Protocol = PPP (after one minute)
Framed-IP-Address = 255.255.255.254 (after another minute
or two)
Frame-MTU = 1500 (later on)
testuser then prompts me for username and password again.
With the USR Netserver, I can't get anywhere. I always get the
incorrect password
message by radiusd. I suspect that this is due to some kind of timeout
or so. I have changed the network card and put another one (I had a
3COM, now I am using an SMC card), nothing changed, same problem.
Any suggestions,
Thanks.
