I am attempting to use Radius NT 2.0 to manage authentication for a
start-up ISP.
I installed the software on my radius server and ran it. Nothing
appeared to happen
at all on the screen. There were no entries pertaining to radius listed
under services in
the control panel. The only hint that anything happened was radsvc.exe
was listed under processes in the task manager.
I loaded it on my back-up server and everything worked great. I thought
my first
server might have a problem, so I loaded Radius on a third server and
got the same
problem I had to begin with.
Other info that might be helpful:
I used the same user account to install and run radius on each machine.
The server that ran radius correctly was the primary domain controler.
The two servers that didn't work are working across the network in every
other aspect.
I tried installing radius on both fat and ntsf partitions, it didn't
show up either way.
