(RADIUS) Radius compilation error

I've installed the RADIUS on one of our servers
that is running REDHAT 5.0 kernel 2.0.31.
Now when ever I try to run the file /etc/radiusd I get the
following error message:
/etc/radiusd: can't load library 'libdb.so.1'

I scaned the hard disk for this file "libdb.so.1" and found it
located under the directory /usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib and has
a soft link to libdb.so.1.85.1

Any idea that might help in solving this problem would be
appreciated.
