OOPS! Merit RADIUS 2.3 release oversight

It has been pointed out to me that the new administrative utility we call
rlmadmin(8) which is part of the RADIUS 2.3 release from Merit has some
linking problems under BSDi 2.0 UNIX. The problems are with the regular
expression compiler re_comp(3) and time formatting strftime(3) library
subroutine calls -- they are not part of BSDi 2.0 evidently.

In the rush to get RADIUS 2.3 released, it looks like the BSDi testing
of this last minute addition to the release was overlooked by our crack
quality assurance department (me). I compiled and linked rlmadmin(8) on
SunOS, OSF/1 and Solaris, but the Linux and BSDi tests were not done.

We use this utility internally and I felt it might be useful to others.
This utility is really only meant to assist in the use of the newly
added authentication type "FILE", so it may not affect all that many of
the BSDi persuasion. In any event, I will post corrections as soon as
I have them and have tested them. I am sorry if this caused anyone any
inconvenience.

Regards,

web...
