}to CC the list. :-) Just be sure to enable hardware handshaking between
}the modem and the portmaster. To be polite to the user, put the
}portmaster in the /etc/hosts.equiv file. It may be necessary to create a
}.rhosts file for them so they can rlogin without needing to enter the
}password.
Don't use either, both are optimized for interactive sessions. Use the uucp
daemon (uucpd.c). It connects your session directly to uucico eliminating
several layers of byte copying compared to rlogin and in.pmd.
There is a modified version of uucpd.c that supports the rlogin protocol
which eliminates the extra login:/passwd: exchange.
