accounting server?

When configuring our portmaster I came across a reference to an
Accounting server and alternative Accounting server they both
required IP address. These were displayed when I typed "show global",
I cannot find any refernece in the manual to these setting. can someone
shed some light on what there purpose is or infact what they do ?.
