serious telnet bug; is it just me?

I've run across a pretty severe bug in ComOS 3.1.3, but Livingston
can't reproduce it. So, for my sanity, could other people running
3.1.3 check this out? Warning: it may cause your PM to reboot, so do
this on an empty unit or in the wee hours.

escape back to the telnet command prompt (i.e. type '^]') and type
'send brk'. That's it.

I've heard some people say that 3.1.3 is less stable than 3.1.2 for
them. If that's the case, what would I lose by downgrading?
